The Book of Church Order (BOCO) of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) consists of three parts. Part I, Form of Government, specifies the organization of the church, the function of its various parts, and the rules by which it operates. Part II, Rules of Discipline, specifies how problems are to be met and solved, how errors are to be corrected and how erring members and officers are to be dealt with. Part III, Directory of Worship, includes rules for the conduct of public worship and administration of the sacraments, and for such occasions as marriages, funerals and dedications.
