Worship
Louie Giglio, the founder of the Passion Conferences, in his book, The Air I Breathe, says this: "You, my friend... are a worshiper! Everyday, all day long, in every place, you worship. It's what you do. It's who you are... It's what you were made to do. Should you for some reason choose not to give God what He desires, you'll worship anyway- simply exchanging the Creator for something He has created."
At Potomac Hills, we recognize the truth of Louie's words. We all worship the things and people around us by giving them the attention and focus of our lives, forgetting that they are not worthy of our worship- they will ultimately disappoint and fade away with the rest of creation. But to center our praise and love on God Himself is to find a worthy focus.
Our worship service is designed to present basic Biblical truth and show how it applies to our everyday lives. Our worship team has an acoustic guitar-driven, contemporary sound that incorporates songs from the Passion movement, Sovereign Grace, the Trinity Hymnal, Indelible Grace, Integrity and others.
